We love covering tropical destination weddings in the South Pacific so when Claire & Dale emailed to check on our availability for their day in Fiji we jumped at the chance. The couple chose the Sofitel Hotel in Denaru Island in Fiji for their ceremony & reception. The hotel had the cutest beachside wedding chapel. Claire carried a sweet bouquet of purple blooms and the church was decorated with the sweetest smelling white florals. The stunning hotel gardens and beachfront were the perfect backdrop for the couple’s photos – who doesn’t want a palm tree in their wedding pics.
The hotel chefs put together a lavish banquet that was enjoyed by the couple & their family and friends who had flown in from all over the world to help them celebrate. Our highlights from their day included the local musicians who serenaded the bride’s arrival to the wedding chapel and the guests during the pre-dinner drinks, the spontaneous dancing by the junior attendees in their vibrant pink gowns and most of all the quality time we had with Claire and Dale on their photo shoot in such a beautiful location.
